Watchmaker's Cleaning Compound

One of the most critical parts of your modding tool kit, there is nothing better for removing dust from within the watch than this cleaning compound. There is nothing worse than spending time to complete your mod and having the watch be filled with specs of dust.

Electric Screwdriver

Game changer for volume work. The torque is low enough that you won't strip tiny case screws, and swapping between bits takes seconds. I've had this for two years without a single issue.

Micro Sissors

Essential for detail work like trimming filters, these micro sissors give you a level of control not possible with standard household sissors.

Cutting Mat

Protects my workbench surface and the gridlines are helpful for lining up elements, like when applying decals.

Precision Tweezers

I use this tweezer set to remove the time modules from watches without damaging them as well as detail work like placing filters in hard to reach areas. Also good for adding back screws to the backplate.

My Adhesive Choice

This is the adhesive I have used to mod over 3,000 watches. I cut thin strips using the micro sissors above. Using a double sided tape is much more forgiving than something like super glue, it also allows you to be much more precise as well as reverse the mod in the future.

Gloves to prevent fingerprints

When modding these watches the last thing you want is to leave fingerprints on the filters or on the inside of the glass. These are thin enough that you don't lose dexterity, and they keep oils off of every surface you touch.

Microfiber Cloth

Always set your watch on a clean microfiber cloth during disassembly. It catches any dropped parts, cushions the case, and prevents the glasses from picking up scratches during the process.

Air Duster

When reassembling the watch I give everything a first pass with this air duster before moving onto the detailed dust removal with the watchmaker's putty above.
